The A-6 Intruder was an all weather, twin engined attack aircraft used by the US Navy and US Marine Corps between 1963 and 1997. It was used extensively during the Vietnam War and subsequently during the first Gulf War. It was superseded with the F14d Tomcat, which in turn was replaced with the FA18 Hornet.
This large model is 1/32 scale and is 18 inches in length and represents the Navy variant of the aircraft. It is displayed on a mirror base to show off its accurate and highly detailed engines.
